When does Men's Softball Begin?
The 2008 USSSA Class D State Champions had a successful season of fellowship and competition again in 2009. This year our team challenged themselves to move up into Class C, however were ousted from the state tournament in Rock Hill winning only one of three games. Thanks goes out to Dean Mosteller for coordinating the league, setting up the team's participation in the state tournament, as well as the league tournament and the recent Autism Speaks fundraiser. The team played with respect and exhibited principles of good sportsmanship, representing the church positively. Special thanks to those that operated the concession stand all season. Your participation and support goes largely unrecognized, except by me of course. I am inspired by your commitment and dedication to promote a ministry I love. Keep your eyes on the calendar for an update as to the steak dinner for the team again this year.
